Multiple Sales Quote may be generated under a single Opportunity to spec out levels of detail that are finer than would be appropriate to commit to on an Opportunity. These are meant to be a method of distributing multiple configurations or options to a potential customer while maintaining an appropriate level of resolution with the org about the best attempt to model what we think an incoming order is going to look like based on current knowledge.
